We know DPFs
Green Air Diesel Solutions tests and inspects your DPF/DOC every step of the cleaning process. The FSX test bench has become the industry standard and provides accurate evaluation for air pressure and micro-pore performance.
Why clean your DPF?
While the passive and active regeneration cycles burns off much of the soot and particulate matter coming out of the exhaust, there is some material that does not burn off. Over time, this buildup of soot affects the performance of the filter, and by extension, the engine. Excessive soot buildup can cause repeated regeneration cycles and high levels of back pressure, which can lead to catastrophic damage and expensive repairs.
More Advantages
Cleaning your DPF twice a year can:
Reduce unscheduled downtime
Increase fuel economy. A dirty filter can reduce fuel economy by up to 4 mpg
Prevents damage to the DPF, whose replacements can cost upwards of $4,000
Maintain horsepower rating of the engine
Our Process
Inspection
Every DPF undergoes a multi-step visual inspection, cell-failure detection, and back pressure evaluation A data worksheet is completed for each DPF detailing the procedures and results, outlined by FSX Equipment experts. Keeping proper DPF cleaning records and a regular maintenance schedule will preserve value in your vehicle.
TrapBlaster Pneumatic Clean
The FSX DPF Cleaning System is the world's most advanced cleaning system and is specified by OEMs.
Using patented state-of-the-art Air Knife Scanning Technology, precision clean air is blown from both directions, scanning the surface of the filter and cleaning every cell.
By using Air Knife Scanning Technology, we can remove an average 95% of the ash and soot in about 30 minutes.
TrapBurner Thermal Regen
When a standard cleaning cycle isn't enough to meet OEM parameters, we will recommend "baking" your DPF in our FSX Ceramic kiln. This is a highly precise 12-hour process in which the DPF is brought to high temperatures for an extended period in order to activate a more thorough regeneration cycle than is possible with standard engine operation.
